Universe Testing Laboratory is a honey testing laboratory in Erode providing reliable analytical testing services for honey producers, processors, traders, food businesses and other customers. Our honey testing services help evaluate the quality, purity, composition and authenticity of honey and honey-based products.
We provide testing for different types of honey and honey products. Depending on the product and testing requirement, analysis may include moisture, total reducing sugars, sucrose, ash, acidity, electrical conductivity, hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), diastase activity and other relevant physicochemical quality parameters.
Honey product testing may also include adulteration screening, detection of added sugars or syrups, heavy metals, pesticide residues, microbiological analysis and other applicable food safety parameters. Testing is carried out using applicable FSSAI requirements, Indian Standards, AOAC methods and other recognized test methods. Where applicable, tests covered under our current NABL accreditation scope are reported accordingly.
